Launch Vehicles Subteam

Update By: Michael Ross

This past week, the LV team added their finishing touches to the assembly and designs and attempted to begin testing, however due to software issues the tests were canceled. Good progress was still made, as the LV team continued working on various simulations and producing more skin samples. The recovery team has also decided to use a CO2 ejection mechanism.

Propulsion Subteam

Update By: Thomas Westenhofer

The Props team has made some big orders this past week, specifically: some remaining valves, BVAS (Bleed Valve Actuation System, see below) adapter, and other mounting parts. They are now currently waiting for these parts to come in before beginning testing next week. In the meantime, Props has continued their research in a suitable ignitor as well as on their engine’s nozzle design.
